Privacy Policy — Esydrive

Esydrive is the driver application published by EsyLoads B.V. ("we", "us"). It allows drivers linked to a transport company to receive missions, share their position during transport, and submit documents (consignment notes, photos). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

• Identity and contact: phone number (used to sign in), first and last name, and where applicable an email address.
• GPS location, including in the background: while tracking is active, the app continuously collects your position (latitude, longitude, speed, heading), including when the app is in the background, so that your company and, where applicable, authorized partner companies can follow the progress of the transport. A persistent notification tells you when tracking is active.
• Documents and photos: loading/delivery photos, damage photos and consignment notes (CMR) you capture in the app.
• Notifications: a push notification identifier used to deliver mission offers and alerts.
• Technical data: device and session information necessary for the operation and security of the service.

2. Why we use this data

• Provide the transport tracking and mission management service.
• Share your position with your company and the organizations you (or it) have consented to.
• Enable the transmission and signature of transport documents.
• Ensure account security and prevent fraud.

3. Location sharing

Your company sees your position. A partner organization only sees your position if a share has been set up; outside an ongoing transport for them, their visibility is approximate (a blurred zone of roughly 5–15 km), never your exact position. You can pause tracking at any time from the app, except during an ongoing transport.

4. Retention

Positions are kept for as long as necessary for operational tracking, then deleted or anonymized. Transport documents are retained in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to transport.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. It is processed by our technical sub-processors (hosting, mapping, notifications) solely to operate the service, under data protection agreements.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored securely. Access is restricted and logged.

8. Children

Esydrive is a professional application, not intended for children under 16.
